The college basketball preseason is here to save us from the doldrums of the NBA lockout. The Maui Invitational is bigger and better this year, guaranteeing exciting basketball for a couple of weeks.
Some of the best and most storied programs in the nation will be in tow. If you can't wait for Duke, Georgetown and UCLA to get it on, you don't have to.

Forget the NBA, because they have forgotten about you. The Maui Invitational will cure the basketball blues we are all feeling right about now.
Participating Teams: Chaminade, Duke, Georgetown, Kansas, Memphis, Michigan, Tennessee, UCLA
Format: The Maui Invitational begins in earnest this weekend, as the field is extended to include a bevy of mainland games. It will all culminate in the same place the Maui Invitational has always ended, in Lahaina, Maui.
Here are the games that will be offered on TV. Games before Maui can be seen streaming on ESPN3. They include the following.
