The college basketball preseason is here to save us from the doldrums of the NBA lockout. The Maui Invitational is bigger and better this year, guaranteeing exciting basketball for a couple of weeks.
Some of the best and most storied programs in the nation will be in tow. If you can't wait for Duke, Georgetown and UCLA to get it on, you don't have to.
March Madness may be a few months off, but the tournament style we love is back, and in Maui's case, better than ever.
Forget the NBA, because they have forgotten about you. The Maui Invitational will cure the basketball blues we are all feeling right about now.
