Are you ready for some college basketball? God, I hope the answer is yes, because we are about to be inundated with all the exciting hoops action we crave.

Who needs the NBA when you have the exciting VCU Rams that delighted us just a few months ago? I could care less about the pros when I have exciting programs like Seton Hall and Georgia Tech to pique my interest.

It's Charleston Classic time, and we have all the information you need to ensure you are in front of a screen watching every second of the hard-hitting action.

This is the fourth annual DIRECTV Charleston Classic presented by Foster Grant. As you can see, the list is filled to the brim with intriguing matchups, simply spoiling us at this time of year.

When: Thursday, November 17th - Saturday, November 20th

Where: TD Arena, Charleston, SC

Other Participating Teams: Georgia Tech, LSU, Northwestern, Saint Joseph's, Seton Hall, Tulsa, VCU, W. Kentucky

Format: The action starts off in the quarterfinals on Thursday. If only the NBA would take a hint and just start in the middle of the playoffs we would all be better off.

The next day plays out with a set of semifinal games. It all culminates on Sunday with a fine day of championship basketball.
