The No. 16 Holy Cross Crusaders and No. 11 Michigan Wolverines completed the NCAA men's basketball tournament's first-round field with wins at the First Four in Dayton, Ohio on Wednesday.

Holy Cross continued its surprising Cinderella run with a 59-55 win over the No. 16 Southern Jaguars in the opener on Wednesday.

The Crusaders, who ended the regular season with a 10-19 record have won five straight games away from home in the postseason. Bill Carmody and company face the No. 1 Oregon Ducks in Spokane, Washington on Friday.

Michigan used a three-pointer from Zak Irvin with 52 seconds remaining to put away the No. 11 Tulsa Golden Hurricane in the nightcap.
