(10) Michigan against (2) Oklahoma

Line: Oklahoma -9.5

Michigan upset Clemson 62-59 in Kansas City to move on to the second round of the NCAA tourney. Manny Harris was the spark plug for the Wolverines with a game-high 23 points and a team-high seven boards. DeShawn Sims was limited to just nine points and three boards in the contest. Michigan’s success beyond the three-point line (10 out of 26) made up for their rebound deficit (28-40).

The Wolverines, making their first trip to the Big Dance in over a decade, had to hold off a late run by Clemson to secure the win.

Oklahoma breezed through the first round with an 82-54 win over Morgan State in the Sprint Center. No surprise that the Sooners were led by Blake Griffin, who scored 28 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Blake got flipped over by an opposing player, who was ejected from the game. Blake’s brother Taylor chimed in with 18 points and five boards.

Oklahoma shot 60.4 percent from the floor for the game compared to Morgan State’s 28.6 percent.
