Garrett TuckerCorrespondent IMay 27, 2010

First off, I'd like to thank Ryan Harrow for taking the time out of his day to do this interview with me on behalf of Real Sports Net. Ryan brings a great game to NC State and should make an impact immediately. If you haven't sen this kid play, it's time to start doing a little research.

Ryan Harrow is a 6'0" point guard from Walton High School in Marietta, Georgia. Harrow joins fellow recruits C.J. Leslie and Lorenzo Brown as the Wolfpack hopes to climb back into the ACC race.

Harrow finished as the 20th overall player in the 2010 recruiting class according to Scouts, and as the eighth ranked point guard in a talent rich class.

Ryan was nice enough to answer a couple of questions with me.

Garrett Tucker : At what point did you realize you could play college basketball ?

Ryan Harrow : During my 10th grade year. Colleges starting taking a look at me and we went from there.

Tucker : What school first contacted you about playing college basketball? What was your impression on them?

Harrow : Georgetown was the first school to contact me. I was really excited because I knew about Georgetown and A.I. (Allen Iverson) went to school there. I'm a big fan of him.

Tucker : Who would you compare yourself to in the college/NBA game?

Harrow : Brandon Jennings and Chris Paul. I can run my team like Chris Paul does and I have the ability to score like Jennings.

Tucker : What stood out to you about NC State?

Harrow : Coach Lowe played in the ACC and the NBA, so he knows all the transitions and what it takes to get me from one level to the next.

Tucker : What are you expecting from Sidney Lowe as a coach?

Harrow: I just ask that he does what I need to make me better and help me succeed in college and for the future.

Tucker : Are there any player you communicate with regularly, whether it be high school, college, or NBA players?

Harrow : Yeah I talk to C.J (C.J. Leslie) and Lorenzo (Lorenzo Brown) a lot, and Josh Hairston and Tyler Jordan.

Tucker : What do you think about C.J. Leslie and is he going to help you accomplish your goals?

Harrow : He's gonna help a lot. He works very hard and comes from a great team and has a winner's mentality. I can't wait to play with him.

Tucker : What are goals for your stint at NC State?

Harrow : I'm looking to win an ACC title and an National Championship, but I want to get better as a player too.

Tucker : Any teams you're looking forward to playing at NC State?

Harrow : Ah I definitely want to beat UNC (North Carolina) since we're big rivals and I want to beat Duke because they just won a National Championship.

Great interview Ryan! Sounds like he's ready to take the ACC by storm next season!

Make sure to keep an eye on Harrow and the other young members of the Wolfpack as they look to be a huge player in the ACC next season!
