
Kyle Collinsworth Ties NCAA Record with 6th Career Triple-Double vs. Portland
BYU Cougars guard Kyle Collinsworth etched his name into NCAA history on Monday night against the Portland Pilots in the West Coast Conference tournament.
Collinsworth notched a triple-double, scoring 13 points, dishing out 11 assists and grabbing 14 rebounds in the Cougars' 84-70 win. According to ESPN, his six triple-doubles this year tie the NCAA all-time record:

ESPN's Jeff Goodman found the timing of Collinsworth's accomplishment somewhat poetic given what happened to him a year ago:
BYU entered the WCC tournament as a bubble team for the NCAA tourney. A win over Gonzaga in the final would give the Cougars an automatic bid.
Collinsworth's performance will heavily determine BYU's fate in that game and whether the Cougars can get into the Big Dance.
Maybe he has another triple-double up his sleeve.
