'Around the Horn' Panelist Pablo Torre Picks No. 16 Seed to Upset No. 1 Seed
A No. 16 seed has never beaten a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament, but that won't stop people from picking it to happen.
ESPN Around the Horn panelist Pablo S. Torre picked a No. 16 seed to upset a No. 1 seed last year. That didn't happen. Even after he whiffed on that a year ago, he is going for the historical upset again this year.
Torre is picking Coastal Carolina to knock off Virginia, who is the fourth No. 1 seed:

"Why Coastal Carolina: 1) A 16 will eventually win + UVA's the weakest 1; 2) Year of Parity II; 3) Southern-Gonzaga was SO FUN; 4) #UmadVA;

"5) We all live on a ball of dust hurtingly pointlessly through space

It would be remarkable if he ends up being correct. However, it becomes less impressive every year that he is wrong.
