Cain Velasquez defended his belt for the first time at UFC on Fox 1 against Junior dos Santos. It was his first fight in a year since he beat Brock Lesnar for the belt.

His fight lasted just over a minute and he has lost for the first time in the biggest fight of his career.

Now Velasquez finds himself out in the title picture and has to face someone to get back into title contention to get his belt back from Junior dos Santos, or even possibly from Lesnar or Alistair Overeem.

There are a couple fights Velasquez could find himself in.

The winner of Fabricio Werdum and Brendan Schaub could find themselves facing Cain next. Schaub poses one-punch knockout strength, while Werdum poses a threat with world-class Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

Also, another fight could be the loser of Lesnar and Overeem. For Lesnar, he really wants a rematch with Cain, and you can tell that when he was picking Cain to beat JDS.

Lesnar wants that fight and if he loses to Overeem at UFC 141, he most certainly could ask for the fight.
