UFC on FOX Results: What a Ben Henderson Win Means to the Lightweight Division

The fight between Ben Henderson and Clay Guida is getting closer and closer. A fight of epic proportions that features two fighters who will just stand and trade or bring the fight to the ground and put on an excellent display of ground work.

The fight is huge and will decide the No. 1 contender for the UFC lightweight champion, Frankie Edgar.

Henderson in his last two fights has shown exactly the kind of fight that you need to bring against Edgar. A complete shellacking of Mark Bocek and Jim Miller in what was just an excellent display of the skills that earned him the WEC lightweight title.

With a win, Bendo will get a well earned shot at Edgar and even though the odds may be stacked against him, will put up one great fight.

Even if Henderson were to lose against Edgar, he has proven his worth after coming from what was seen as a less talented WEC lightweight division.

This is a big fight tonight, and with a win Henderson puts the division on notice that even though he may be from the WEC, he is just as good as any other fighter.
