Week 10 Start Em Sit Em: Kevin Walter and Others to Bench
Everyone in fantasy football has at least a few star players they can count on each week. That said, having solid role players and a good bench is needed to win a championship.
Only problem however, is that the role players aren't nearly as consistent as the stars, thus making it more difficult when deciding who to start/bench.
In any event, we revert to matchups. So, here are four players to bench in Week 10.

Kevin Walter: WR, Houston (at Tampa Bay)
Despite playing against the No. 28 ranked pass defense in Tampa Bay, Kevin Walter has to take a seat this week. And it's not so much about the matchup being in his favor as it is Houston's ground game.
The Texans rank No. 2 in rushing offense and have two backs that could reach the 1,000-yard mark this season. So, expect Houston to run the ball quite often against the Bucs' and even during pass plays, QB Matt Schaub tends to dump it off in the flats/check-down since Andre Johnson isn't there as the deep threat.
Walter may score some points, but it's not enough to warrant a start.
Mark Ingram: RB, New Orleans (at Atlanta)
Obviously if Mark Ingram doesn't suit up this week he's on the bench. However, even if he does put the pads on there won't be much contribution from the Saints' leading rusher.
New Orleans first off, has to other backs in Darren Sproles and Pierre Thomas to keep their ground game working and Drew Brees is going to air it out again as usual. So even if Ingram is ready to go, his time will be limited and he'll be lucky to see the field.
Maybe later in the year Ingram is a more appealing play, but not until he's actually back to 100 percent.
Felix Jones: RB, Dallas (vs Buffalo)
Sort of in the same situation of Mark Ingram in New Orleans, only difference though, is that Felix Jones has been replaced with a stud rookie in DeMarco Murray, whereas Ingram (when healthy) is the Saints best RB.
Now for real football purposes, having a solid two-back tandem is a great thing for an offense. It keeps defenses guessing, changes the pace, and provides more versatility. But in Jones' case, Murray does all that and more.
So, regardless of whether Jones is healthy enough to play this week or not, his services will be spared because of a much better RB.
Andy Dalton: QB, Cincinnati (vs Pittsburgh)
Although it may appear that Dick LeBeau's defense is having a down year, are you really comfortable starting a rookie QB against the Steelers defense? Even if you're in a two-QB league it's a stretch.
That being said, keep Andy Dalton on your bench because not only are the Steelers desperate for a win, but there's no way LeBeau and company allow a rookie to best them when the playoffs are nearing.
Dalton may have a decent game (at best), but benching him for a more favorable matchup is the correct and safest bet in Week 10.
