NFL Week 10 Predictions: Projecting the Best Fantasy Football Starters
Making correlations between fantasy football and real football aren't always the best of matches. We have to remember that all the players and coaches just want to win, because although putting up good numbers is helpful, it's not always required.
As for fantasy football, the best starters each week aren't necessarily going to be the league's all-stars. Nonetheless, it is nice having one or two you can rely on. In any event, here are four of the best fantasy starters in Week 10.
Roddy White: WR, Falcons (vs Saints)

NFL coach calls CFB transfer players 'clowns'

Final Consensus NFL Mock Draft 📝
Thus far in 2011 Falcons' WR Roddy White has played very consistent, and at a rather high level as well. That said, Week 10 could be his best performance this season.
With the recent surge of rookie WR Julio Jones, the threat of Jones along with TE Tony Gonzalez, and then RB Michael Turner, White will be left in numerous favorable situations. New Orleans may have a halfway-decent pass defense, but White has gone somewhat under the radar in recent weeks.
He'll most likely see more one-on-one coverage than expected now that Jones has really come on the scene, so that's only going to derive attention away from Atlanta's veteran WR.
Aaron Rodgers: QB, Packers (vs Vikings)
It's not so much that Aaron Rodgers is the game's best player and always a "duh!" when it comes to starting him in fantasy, but the reason why he'll dominate this week. Sure, Green Bay's playing host to Minnesota, but it's what Rodgers can do versus what the Vikings lack-passing offense.
The more Green Bay throws the ball, the more they get Minnesota on their heels, and the quicker the games gets outta hand. The Packers know that the Vikings will have success running the ball, but stacking the box and forcing rookie QB Christian Ponder to match Rodgers is the plan.
In turn, the Packers' aerial assault gives them a major advantage that not even Adrian Peterson can comeback from, despite how well he runs the rock. And Rodgers just proves once again that Green Bay is far too explosive for anyone to keep pace with.
DeMarco Murray: RB, Cowboys (vs Bills)
The biggest reason why the Cowboys need to run the ball against Buffalo is not so much keeping the Bills offense off the field (although that will help), but more so because the their defense relies too much on forcing turnovers.
On the year, Buffalo's defense has picked off 15 passes, scored three TDs, and recorded 15 sacks. However, their pass and rush defenses still rank No. 25 and No. 20, respectively. Thus, limiting the Bills' opportunities to pick off Tony Romo while also setting up the pass will be needed.
Therefore, enter rookie RB DeMarco Murray and watch him takeover the game. Buffalo has yet to prove they can stop the run consistently, and Dallas has only gotten better and the ground and pound approach. Not to mention this will help setup the pass later on.
Matt Schaub: QB, Texans (at Buccaneers)
Right now the Houston Texans rank No. 2 in rushing offense while averaging over 150 yards per game. Their opponent this week are the Buccaneers who rank No. 26 in rush defense and allow over 130 yards per game.
So why is Houston QB Matt Schaub listed and not a Texans' RB? Because Tampa Bay will be so blinded by the Texans ability to run the ball with two different RBs, that they'll hardly acknowledge the pass.
Currently both of Houston's RBs (Ben Tate, Arian Foster) are on pace for over 1,000 yards this season. They are the best area of coach Gary Kubiak's offense at the moment, and Tampa's only shot at winning is shutting them down.
Well, that will then allow Schaub to shred their young secondary (Ronde Barber is an outlier) as the Bucs' pass defense ranks No. 28 and allows over 260 yards per game. The passing game in Houston may be somewhat down with Andre Johnson, but it's still good enough to slice a team like Tampa.
