WWE Rumors: John Cena a 'Mess' After Breakup, Nikki Bella Isn't 'Devastated'

Two days after they officially announced their split, Us Weekly reported Tuesday how John Cena and Nikki Bella are coping.

A source told Stephanie Webber of Us Weekly that Cena is "a mess" over the situation, and while Nikki isn't happy, she's "not devastated."

The source also told Webber the following: "She's in a place where she's just exhausted by some of the things going on in the relationship. John is the love of her life [and] she adores him. They still speak. It's just very hard. But right now, she has to focus on herself."

On Monday, Nikki issued a statement on Instagram regarding the end of her six-year relationship with Cena:

Karen Mizoguchi of People reported Tuesday that a source indicated it was Bella who broke up with Cena due to his actions leading up to their planned May 5 wedding.

Cena proposed to Nikki following their match at WrestleMania 33 last year in Orlando, Florida.

Much of their relationship was chronicled on a pair of E! reality shows in Total Divas and Total Bellas. There was also reportedly a television special in the works regarding their wedding, but it has since been canceled.
