Paul Heyman Will Induct Goldberg into 2018 WWE Hall of Fame
As Goldberg prepares for his entrance into the WWE Hall of Fame during WrestleMania weekend, Paul Heyman will induct the former WCW and WWE universal champion April 6 in New Orleans.
WWE announced the decision Sunday:
Goldberg is the first member announced for the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame class. His induction will come one year after his last match with the company, which came against Brock Lesnar, who defeated him for the universal title at WrestleMania 33.
Heyman had an up-close look at what Goldberg is capable of when he defeated Lesnar in 86 seconds at the 2016 Survivor Series.
Goldberg previously wrestled for WWE in 2003-04, defeating The Rock in his first match with the company. He is also one of nine wrestlers in history to have won the WCW triple crown as world heavyweight champion, tag team champion and United States champion.
