The Blazers trailed by as many as 19 points in the first half and by seven points at halftime, but they fought back in the third and fourth quarters to earn a hard-fought victory.

Stokes was a monster for Portland, finishing with 22 points, 15 rebounds and three assists in the win. Meanwhile, Jorge Gutierrez deserves plenty of credit for his work as a facilitator:

Caleb Swanigan also continued to show that his skill set can translate to the NBA, finishing with 15 points and 11 rebounds while ending plus-12 on the floor.

This move was memorable as well:

Memphis had plenty of balance with four players in double figures, but finishing 2-of-10 from three-point range as a team wasn't enough to keep up on the scoreboard down the stretch.

Even as Dillon Brooks impressed with 16 points, the Grizzlies saw their run in Las Vegas come to an end.

Los Angeles Lakers 108, Dallas Mavericks 98

LAS VEGAS, NV - JULY 16: Kyle Kuzma #0 of the Los Angeles Lakers shoots the ball against the Dallas Mavericks during the 2017 Summer League Semifinals on July 16, 2017 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. NOTE TO USER: User expressly acknowle

This battle between two elite rookie point guards lived up to the hype, with both Lonzo Ball and Dennis Smith Jr. having impressive performances.

Smith showcased his athleticism with this huge dunk:

Ball is better known for his passing ability, and this one might have been the best of the day:

Smith finished with 21 points, six assists and two steals, while Ball tallied 16 points, 10 assists and four rebounds.

Unfortunately, most of Ball's production came in the first half as a calf injury limited him in the second. Mike Trudell of the team's official site noted he was available to return in the fourth quarter, although he remained on the bench.

Dallas battled back with Ball out, but Kyle Kuzma (24 points) and Matt Thomas (20 points) helped the Lakers hold on to the lead. The duo combined to shoot 11-of-14 from three-point range in the win.

Los Angeles and Portland will now battle for the championship Monday night at 10 p.m. ET.
