ESPN's Chris Haynes reported Thursday that Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant was in on the joke Peyton Manning cracked about him during Wednesday's ESPYs monologue.

Manning joked that the United States women's gymnastics team was so dominant that Durant was considering signing with them, which led to the following reaction from Durant, courtesy of the ESPYs Twitter account:

The former Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos quarterback then asked for Oklahoma City Thunder guard and reigning NBA MVP Russell Westbrook's reaction before the camera cut to an expressionless Westbrook.

Durant has often been the subject of criticism since deciding to leave the Thunder in favor of signing with the Warriors last offseason after they went 73-9 during the 2015-16 regular season.

The move paid dividends for Durant, though, as he won his first championship and was named NBA Finals MVP.

Durant also had a successful night at the ESPYs, winning the award for best championship performance by virtue of averaging 35.2 points, 8.2 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game during the Finals.

KD also took the stage with Stephen Curry and Zaza Pachulia to close the night in order to accept the award for best team on behalf of the Warriors.
