LeBron James Roasts Draymond Green for Wearing Shirt Mocking Cavs to Parade
After the Cleveland Cavaliers lost to the Golden State Warriors, LeBron James apparently began his offseason by watching The Office or hanging out with middle schoolers.
Draymond Green showed up to Thursday's championship parade wearing a "Quickie" shirt where the "Q" resembled the Cavaliers' Quicken Loans Arena logo. Per NBA on TNT, he said he wanted payback for Cleveland's acts of pettiness last summer:
Rather than stew and hope to hit back next year, James responded on Instagram with an old classic. Yes, this is an article about an accomplished 32-year-old man not named Michael Scott saying, "That's what she said."
As illustrated by CBS Sports' James Herbert, MVP finalists—and Kevin Durant's former teammates—Russell Westbrook and James Harden bowed down to the King's burn.
By all accounts, the Warriors continued to celebrate their second championship in three years despite James' social media post.
