The minor spat drew members of each team's coaching staff to the floor to break it up. DeMarcus Cousins, who's already built a bit of a reputation for impassioned responses, made his way over to the scuffle.
He was blocked out by Bulls assistant coach Jim Boylen, who appeared to push Cousins away from the action. Boogie didn't take too kindly to the gesture and responded by shoving Boylen.
The confrontation cleared up quickly after that, but officials were tasked with reviewing what exactly had transpired to properly hand out fines and penalties.
Cousins was given a technical, his 15th of the season.
