New Sunderland manager David Moyes is reportedly interested in yet another reunion with Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini, while star youngster Andreas Pereira is on a list of players said to be allowed to leave the club for the 2016-17 campaign.

According to the Sun (h/t Metro's George Bellshaw), Moyes is once again eyeing a move for Belgium international Fellaini, a midfielder he has already signed twice, at Everton and United.

Fellaini isn't believed to be a part of new manager Jose Mourinho's plans, and given his lack of popularity at Old Trafford, a summer move isn't unlikely. According to the report, a bid close to £13 million could be enough for the Black Cats to get their man.

The 28-year-old was always an odd fit at Old Trafford after making the move from Everton to United in 2013, and while he saw plenty of playing time under former manager Louis van Gaal, he failed to put together a consistent stretch of strong performances.

He flashed some talent at Everton and has been very consistent for the Belgian national team, however, indicating that he should be able to flourish with a different club. The Daily Record's Duncan Castles reported that the Red Devils plan on cashing in:

It's worth noting that Fellaini didn't make the list of players Mourinho is planning on moving ahead of the new season, however, per the Daily Mail (h/t Daily Star's Jack Wilson).

Pereira, Adnan Januzaj, Will Keane, James Wilson and others have all been mentioned as possible loan candidates, depending on the offers that arrive, and per Samuel Luckhurst of the Manchester Evening News, a number of them weren't spotted in a recent training video:

Pereira is seen as one of the most talented players to come out of United's academy in years, but despite impressing in pre-season last year, he has failed to make his mark with the first team.

The 20-year-old's fate likely won't change during the coming season, as Mourinho will be anxious to prove himself during his first year at Old Trafford and will trust his veteran stars more than his younger options. The Special One doesn't have a great track record when it comes to promoting youth, and the addition of Henrikh Mkhitaryan will only make it harder for Pereira.

A loan deal seems ideal, as Pereira is too talented to give up on at this point and is in dire need of regular playing time to continue his development. The attacking midfielder is already capable of creating magical moments, as he showed during last year's Under-20 FIFA World Cup:

His situation is similar to those of Januzaj, Keane and Wilson, who all have the potential to be contributing members of the senior squad but whose careers stalled under Van Gaal. Januzaj has failed to hit the heights of his fantastic debut campaign, and while his loan with Borussia Dortmund was far from convincing, he might fare better at a smaller club.

Former manager Moyes is reportedly interested in Fellaini's compatriot as well, per Bellshaw, and a stint with the Black Cats may be exactly what the youngster needs to rediscover his best form.

Wilson sat well ahead of Marcus Rashford in the United pecking order not so long ago and has only recently lost his status as a super-prospect. He could benefit greatly from another loan move. His spell with Brighton & Hove Albion last year was relatively successful―another trip south might be the answer.
