Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater Surprises Fan by Taking Her to Prom

Teddy Bridgewater gave a young fan a surprise of a lifetime Friday night in Louisville. Junior Ashley Davis was all dolled up for her prom when the Minnesota Vikings quarterback surprised her out of nowhere, leaving her in tears. 

“This is like heaven, yeah,” Davis told WLKY. “Well, I was standing on the front porch, and Teddy came around the corner and I started crying and we just got pictures. I was on cloud nine.

Bridgewater, the former Louisville signal-caller who is gearing up for his second season in the NFL, explained to the station why he showed up as her prom date: 

"

I felt that it was the right thing to do. It was a good thing to do. It kind of touched me when I first met her. How she kind of teared up and everything. It just showed that I made an impact here on the playing field on and off the playing field. Ashley ... She is just a great girl and I am going to make sure she has a great time tonight.

"

As you can imagine, Davis could barely control herself while taking pictures:
