Fight Card Breakdown
Leo Santa Cruz vs. Jose Cayetano

Jose Cayetano was a late addition to the card, replacing Anthony Settoul. In reality, it doesn't really matter which opponent lines up against Leo Santa Cruz because this won't be a close battle.
Santa Cruz has put together an undefeated record in 30 career starts (29 wins and one draw) and hasn't faced a real contender in his last few bouts. While this will be a disappointment for boxing fans, this won't be a close match either as Cayetano is little more than a sacrificial lamb. He is coming off a one-sided loss to Enrique Bernache and isn't likely to turn things around anytime soon.
In reality, this is just a showcase for Santa Cruz, which he wants to take advantage of Saturday. He recently explained this as a chance to become a household name:
Although fans might not be interested, he will certainly be able to show what he can do with a dominant win in the PPV undercard.
Prediction: Santa Cruz wins by TKO
Vasyl Lomachenko vs. Gamalier Rodriguez

Similar to the Santa Cruz fight, this match will also be to showcase one fighter. Vasyl Lomachenko is the clear favorite in this bout, as Ryan Songalia of Ring Magazine noted:
The slight difference is this could actually be a coming-out party for the Ukraine native, who is truly capable of being a superstar in the sport.
Promoter Bob Arum sees big things for Lomachenko going forward, via Dan Rafael of ESPN:
"I'm his biggest fan and I was from the beginning. I thought this guy was amazing and it's an honor to promote him. I want the fans on May 2 to see a typical Lomachenko display of all of his talents, his smarts, his body punching. He's an extraordinary talent and this is a good platform to exhibit that talent before the biggest possible audience.
"
The two-time Olympic gold medalist has only four professional fights on his resume but is certain to keep racking up wins as he continues his career at this level.
Gamalier Rodriguez has a lot more experience as a professional and has won 17 bouts in a row. However, he will be overmatched in this contest as the favorite wins a decision with ease.
Prediction: Lomachenko wins by unanimous decision
Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao
The main event has been discussed quite a bit lately and is certain to be debated for many years after the fact. With the talent and experience of these two veterans, it would be a surprise if the match doesn't go the distance.
However, the difference will be Mayweather's strategy as it fits perfectly against Pacquiao's style. While clearly not objective, ESPN's Stephen A. Smith broke down his thoughts on the fight:
This is exactly the problem for Pacquiao, who is aggressive in all of his fights. He usually uses his speed to beat the defense of opponents and put them on their heels, but that won't be possible this time around.
Mayweather moves so well around the ring that landing power punches is almost impossible. He will avoid damage with his quickness and keep Pacquiao's accuracy as low as ever. Meanwhile, he will wait patiently for a chance at counters as his opponent ends up out of position.
It won't always be pretty for fans, but Mayweather has the talent and strategy necessary to win this bout.
Prediction: Mayweather wins by unanimous decision
