Has Santos Star Neymar Already Decided His Future?

Dusan LucicJun 7, 2018

Neymar is often described as the next superstar, and has already drawn comparisons to the likes of Pele and Ronaldo.

Real Madrid had been favourites to sign the Brazilian, but Florentino Perez's arrogance in negotiation seems to be bothering Neymar and his representatives. Los Blancos' archrivals Barcelona are now set to hijack Santos' star whose buyout clause is reported to be around €60 million.

During a conference call last year, Perez tried to push through the deal which didn't sit well with Santos and his representatives. Real Madrid demanded the move to be done as soon as 2012, while Barca is ready to wait until the summer of 2013, Goal.com reveals.

If this turns out to be true, one thing is sure—Real Madrid missed out on yet another superstar in the making. And Neymar could very well prove to be the difference between the two Spanish giants in the future.
