Are the Arizona Cardinals the Worst Playoff Team Ever?
There have been many teams in the NFL in the past who have made the playoffs with 9-7 and 8-8 records. But the facts show, none of these teams won their respected divisions. They were all wild-card teams.
So, seeing as this is a year where we root on failure in Detroit, is it possible that the Arizona Cardinals could be the worst playoff team in the history of the NFL?
The Cardinals are currently fourth in the NFL with yards gained per game. But they are dead last in rushing yards gained per game. They have ran for a very poor 73 rushing yards per game.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Cardinals are second in the league in passing yards a game (299), but how far can they go without a running game. We have seen them play against stellar passing defense teams (the Eagles, Redskins, Panthers, Patriots) and it seems the Cardinals running game can't get going, so their passing fails.
The Cardinals do have an 8-7 record as of today. But six of their eight wins are against teams with losing records. Of those six teams, five of them were division wins. In a division where the Cardinals can win the division by only counting their division wins, how strong can this team be?
As for the Cardinals' defense, they have had Madden-like numbers put up on them this season. Losing to the New York Jets 56-35. Losing to the Eagles 48-20. Losing to the Patriots 47-7.
They have an inconsistent defense, who, in divisional games, allowed 16 points a game and scored 29 points a game. While on the other hand, in the games they don't play in the division, they allow a whopping 32.5 points a game, while only scoring 24 points a game.
How far can they possibly go in the playoffs with these kind of astounding numbers?
