Boise State Broncos, SEC Fantasy Football: Week 11
The bell has tolled for the Boise State Broncos in their first Southeastern Conference fantasy football season. In a hard fought game from start to finish, the Louisiana State University Tigers, the No. 1 team in the land, left the blue turf of Bronco Nation with their undefeated record in tact.
The Tigers scored on a seven-play drive, culminating in a 23-yard rushing touchdown and chewing up eight minutes off the clock late in the third quarter. The remainder of the game was a defensive struggle with Broncos unable to recover and tie the game.
The results all but kill any hope of the Broncos winning the western division. With two SEC games remaining on LSU's schedule, BSU is not yet mathematically eliminated, but would lose the tie breaker to LSU because of the loss in the head-to-head matchup even if LSU were to lose its remaining two SEC games.
Boise State currently holds a 7-2 (5-2 SEC) record and will face the University of Alabama in Week 12, followed by the University of South Carolina to end the season.
