Wondering who you should target on your fantasy football waiver wire for Week 10? Here is a list of some potential breakout players who might be available on your wire.

Sam Bradford: St. Louis Rams

Bradford (ankle) returned to action in Week 9 against the Arizona Cardinals and went 23-of-36 for 255 yards with an interception in the game. He did acknowledge his injured ankle was sore after the game, but he should be able to continue to play barring any setbacks.

A fairly difficult matchup is coming in Week 10 against the Cleveland Browns, but after that things get easier against a pair of NFC West foes in the Seattle Seahawks (Week 11) and a rematch with the Cardinals (Week 12).

Bradford’s disappointing start to the season followed by his injury likely led to his being dropped in a lot of leagues (52 percent ownership in Fleaflicker), but he is certainly worthy of a least a speculative add in all league formats.

Consider Adding In: 10-Team, 12-Team and 14-Team Leagues

Roy Helu: Washington Redskins

Helu had 10 carries for 41 yards and 14 receptions (on 17 targets) for 105 yards against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, and he has now emerged as the Redskins’ starting tailback.

Head coach Mike Shanahan has suggested backup Ryan Torain’s role will be minimal going forward, but fantasy football owners know all too well not to completely take Shanahan at his word. That said, Helu definitely appears to be capable as both a runner and receiver, even if he never has double-digit catches in another game all season.

Legitimate starting running backs with upside are hard to find at this stage of the season, but the rookie out of Nebraska falls in to that category. Those in need will certainly need to act fast, but Helu is still available in 79 percent of Fleaflicker leagues right now.

Consider Adding In: 10-Team, 12-Team and 14-Team Leagues

Ben Tate: Houston Texans

Tate had 12 carries for 115 yards and a touchdown against the Cleveland Browns in Week 9, and he has now topped 100 rushing yards in two of his last three games despite not seeing more than 15 carries in either game.

Arian Foster is clearly the Texans’ top tailback when healthy, but there appears to be enough production in the team’s running game to keep Tate fantasy relevant as well. If wide receiver Andre Johnson (hamstring) has to miss another game in Week 10 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Houston can be expected to run the ball extensively for at least one more week before their Week 11 bye.

Tampa Bay has allowed seven total touchdowns to opposing running backs over their last four games, so Tate could again be very productive.

Fantasy owners in search of a running back to plug-in Week 10 and perhaps beyond should consider adding him now, as he may have been dropped after Foster returned from a hamstring injury early in the season.
