Brandon Lloyd Rams: Broncos WR Reportedly Dealt to St. Louis
The first big trade of the 2011 regular season has officially happened, as Brandon Lloyd will join the St. Louis Rams, who are in desperate need of help at the wideout position.
The Rams are currently 0-5, and this is a very wise move on their part because their young quarterback, Sam Bradford, badly needed a reliable wide receiver.
Jason LaCanfora, a reporter for the NFL Network, was the first to break the news, and he of course did so via Twitter because that's just what you do these days.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
No word just yet on what the Denver Broncos will receive, but it looks as though they didn't want Lloyd around to help out Tim Tebow.
Once the Broncos announced they had placed Lloyd on the trading block, I was a bit surprised they wanted to part ways with him, but they're a rebuilding team in need of draft picks, and they're likely to get a good one considering the Rams may not finish the 2011 season with a good record.
St. Louis has had one of the toughest schedules to open the season squaring off against the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, Baltimore Ravens, Washington Redskins and Green Bay Packers.
Next up for the Rams is another tough road trip as they'll try to get their first win against Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys.
The Rams haven't been playing extremely bad football, but everybody knew they needed help at the wide receiver position.
Lloyd lead the NFL in receiving yards last year, but he's been off to a slow start this season because of a groin injury.
St. Louis will hope that he stays healthy for the remainder of the season because he will certainly help make them better on offense.
