WWE Breaking News: Heath Slater Accused of Attacking Female Security Guard

According to Atlanta Journal-Constitution, WWE star Heath Slater attempted to force a female guard to his hotel room.

The accusation stems from WrestleMania weekend, where Slater met security guard Connie Oliver at a WWE after-party that she was working. 

As the night continued on, Slater allegedly grabbed the guard by the neck to take her back to his room.

"Corinne Oliver, who was working for Allied Barton Security Services at the time, said she had to wrestle her way out of Heath Slater’s grip, and the April 4 encounter with the World Wrestling Entertainment star has left her with back pains. Atlanta police spokesman John Chafee said Thursday the alleged incident is still under investigation and no charges have been filed."

WWE spokesman Jerry McDevitt weighed in on the topic stating, “The alleged victim is making claims against Slater individually, and it’s being investigated, this has nothing to do with the WWE."

Oliver's attorney did give AJC the following statement:

"

“She basically said he [Slater] approached her and asked her to go to his room,” Patterson said. “She said no. He started telling her she was pretty and those type things. The next thing you know she was in a chokehold, and he was dragging her and bending her backward, trying to get her on the elevator to his room. She violently had to struggle to get his arm from around her neck.”

There has been no word from Slater or his rep as of this article.

Hopefully, the allegations are false as Slater is just beginning his career and this is a mark that he doesn't need following him. However, if it proves to be true, the WWE must intervene as it stemmed from a company event.
