While the world was watching Kurt Busch celebrating in victory lane his first road course win at Infineon last week, many wondered who the pretty blonde was among those congratulating the Penske driver.
Was this his wife Eva? No, Eva was taller and would have been even closer to the winner than this new face.
It turns out that 32-year-old Kurt Busch and Eva have called it quits in the marriage department, none of which was formally announced, however it appears that many in the immediate NASCAR community were aware of the situation.
Details are still developing, but reports indicate that couple had ended their five year relationship over the past few months, filing for divorce in early June. No indications as to who called what or for what reasons are available at this time.
What we do know is the new acquaintance of Busch is Patricia Driscoll, a pretty 33-year-old Texas born professional. The current Maryland resident is the Chief Executive Officer of Frontline Defense Systems LLC (FDS), a company that provides solutions relating to advanced technologies and surveillance systems for the Department of Defense.
Kurt has not officially announced what exactly his relationship is with Driscoll, but one can only speculate it is more than a casual friendship.
During Kurt and Eva’s marriage, they had no children. Kurt is currently fourth in the overall Cup standings and was the 2004 NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion, amassing 23 Cup race victories during his 12 year professional career.
