Round 3 (cont) - Both men in center after Herb Dean resets. Then press against fence. Mir lands a HUGE knee as Cro Cop throws a left and it drops him. Cro Cop is out when he hits the mat! It's over!

Round 3 - Mir looking to land right hook early. Jab by Mirko misses. Neither man really finding his game in this fight. Mir tries to trip for takedown and misses foot sweep. Jab Mirko. They clinch and Mirko lands knee as they separate. Jab by Mirko snaps Mir's head back. His best punch of the fight. They clinch and push each other against the fence. This fight isn't exactly going as the UFC would have liked.

Round 2 is a 10-10 on my scorecard.

Round 2 (cont) - Good knees by Mir on inside. Herb Dean with restart #3. Jab by Mirko lands. Left low kick by Mirko lands. And again as Mir checks. They stare at each other and Mirko responds with a huge left head kick that misses the mark.

Round 2 (cont) - Nice knee to body by Mir. Crowd booing again. Herb Dean restarts them in the center. Mirko jab misses. Right low kick from Mir scores. Counter right hook lands for Cro Cop as Mir comes in. They clinch against the cage again. Crowd utterly restless...

Round 2 - Jab by both miss. Left hook from Cro Cop blocked by Mir. Cro Cop feints with left shoulder. Jab by Cro Cop misses. Mir eats a left hand as he's moving his head side to side. Jab by Mirko. They clinch against cage. Knees by both on inside...

Round one to Mir 10-9

Round 1 (cont) - Herb Dean stops and restarts in center. Crowd approves. Left/right by Mir and Cro Cop steps away. Left body kick by Cro Cop lands. They clinch and the round ends.

Round 1 (cont) - Two Mir right hooks miss as he comes forward. No kicks from Cro Cop yet. Left hand and jab from Cro Cop miss. Left/right combo from Mir backs him up but do no damage. Right high kick from Cro Cop misses. Mirko jab. Body kick by Mir. Mirko jab/right hand combo. They clinch against fence. Mirko with double underhooks. They break away and restart in center. Low kick by Mir lands, combo misses, Mir presses him against cage once again. Crowd starting to get restless...

Round 1 - They touch gloves. Mir combo misses along with Cro Cop counter. Mirko feinting with his left foot. Mir pressing forward, changes levels, Cro Cop stuffs takedown. They clinch against fence. Mir eats a low blow. Herb Dean gives him time to recover and Mir is shaking it off. Back to action...

Cold, calm staredown from both men.

Mir seems to get new ink in between all of his fights.
