Why No Browns Fan Should Be Rooting For The Thunder. (NBA Playoffs)
With the start of the NBA playoffs this weekend has come the start of a disturbing trend, Cavs fans who want to see the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Los Angeles Lakers. Sadly, I am dissapointed in any of them who are Browns fans (and with both being Cleveland teams there a probably a good number of them).Either these fans have no conscience,or no memory.
We Browns fans should understand what it feels like to have our hearts ripped out when our team relocates to a less deserving city. Well, we were lucky we got our team back. Now think of the Seattle Sonics fans, their team left and while there is a chance they come back it is nothing near a guarantee. Seattle very well could be out of luck.

Think of how you felt when the Baltimore Ravens won the Super Bowl in 2000....if you feel you're about to throw up take a small break before you continue reading...
It was a pretty bad feeling wasn't it? Maybe a burning rage, thinking it was just wrong? Or an empty feeling in the pit of your stomach? Maybe Both?
I hate to bring up that day because it still makes me angry, but I had no choice.
Now these fans are asking a city and a fanbase to get one step closer to that awful feeling. It may even be worse, most the Thunder players were on the Sonics when they left town, including star Kevin Durant ( a rookie at the time). To me this is the equivalent of the Browns drafting Peyton Manning, and then watching him move to Baltimore with the rest of the team. Unfortunately even if the Lakers sweep the Thunder the pain of Seattle and the fans will likely continue for years as this young team improves, and they may have to deal with the possibility of those awful feelings every year.
Maybe think about THAT before you start cheering for the Thunder Tuesday night.
