     Dear Eagles Fans,

Gone is my stupid smile, my dirt directed passes, my legacy as a Philadelphia Eagle. As of tomorrow morning, I will begin my career as a Washington Redskin. I get two chances a year to give you a real reason to boo me, can't wait.

Santana Moss isn't Desean Jackson but he's about the closest thing besides Steve Smith (Panthers not Giants) in the NFL, and I have two young receivers in Devin Thomas and Malcolm Kelly that I look forward to working with.

With Willie Parker, Larry Johnson, and Clinton Portis in the backfield, I know I'll begin the season with at least two talented RBs. I believe my addition makes the Redskins contenders to win the NFC East if not the entire NFC.

The Redskins defense is stout and Shanahan should bring an interesting flavor to the team. I am glad he chose to begin his Redskins legacy with me at QB. I look forward to the success the two of us will have together.

To the Eagles fans I say thank you. Thanks for 11 amazing seasons and allowing me to be part of your great city. The passion you show for your sports teams is evident and I'm sorry I wasn't able to live up to your standards. Hopefully Kevin Kolb leads you to the Super Bowl and continued success.

Andy Reid was an amazing supporter and coach and I thank him for standing beside me for as long as possible. I can't imagine how different my career would've been if Andy hadn't been there for me as long as he was. I was truly given the opportunity to succeed in every way possible with the Eagles and hope they win a championship for their fans.

To the Redskins fans I say, let's do this. Super Bowl or bust. I know I'm only under contract for one more season but I hope me and the Redskins are able to come to an agreement that allows me to stay with the team past this season. I look forward to solidifying the QB position for the Redskins and hope the fans are able to accept me their QB.

I apologize to Jason Campbell and his family for anything that may occur as a result of my trade and hope he has as successful a career as I have. Hopefully we get the opportunity to work together and maybe i can help him out. If he doesn't return to the Redskins I hope he finds himself in a position to succeed, which isn't the Raiders.

I'll continue to work as hard as possible to be the best QB I can be. Hopefully I can reach my career goal and bring a championship home for the Washington Redskins franchise. Thank you for allowing me to continue my career in the NFL and I hope that this season brings us great things.

Hail to the Redskins!!
