Additions:

23. Nashville Predators: Quinton Howden (LW)

       Current Team: Moose Jaw Warriors

       Ht/Wt: 6’3”/183

       Stats: 65GP, 28G, 37A, 65P

Quinton Howden was the first overall selection in the 2007 WHL priority draft, and was for good reason. With plenty of expectations Howden has delivered. Averaging a point a game in his second season Howden has proven that their is plenty of potential on the offensive side of the ice, but his ability to play defence is the reason he should be a first round selection. Howden is quick, hard on the puck and usually wins the battles. Give another year or two for development and Howden could be an effective NHL forward.

11. Dallas Stars: Brett Connolly (LW)

       Current Team: Prince George Cougars

       Ht/Wt: 6’2”/181

       Stats: 16GP, 10G, 9A, 19P

Brett Connolly has not played many games due a hip injury, but the scouts have seen enough that the Prince George native will be a high pick in the 2010 NHL entry draft. Connolly is a very physical forward that can really put the numbers on the scoreboard. In his rookie season Connolly led his entire team in scoring with 60 points in 65 games, and was third overall in rookie scoring. Connolly has a hard, accurate shot, and is quick on his feet. The team who drafts him may be taking a risk, but the reward is tremendous
