UPDATE:  OT Tony Pashos is in Washington tonight having dinner with HC Mike Shanahan and his former OLine coach in SF and now current Redskins OL Coach Chris Foerster.  [LINK]

UPDATE:  There are minor rumors out there that the Redskins may be interested in Detroit LB Larry Foote.  [LINK]

UPDATE:  Several news sources, including PFT and DCPSR, report that the Redskins are interested in QB Rex Grossman.  Grossman would likely be brought in as a third string QB.  Before you cut your wrists in anger, the Redskins are showing signs of possibly taking a QB at No. 4 in the draft, ether Sam Bradford or Jimmy Clausen.  Grossman could be used to help install Kyle Shanahan's offense with the possible rookie QB.  He played last season in Houston under then OC Kyle Shanahan.  Makes sense, but pure speculation.  In addition, third stronger Todd Collins was released by the Redskins yesterday.  So there is an opening.  Relax, breathe.  [LINK]

UPDATE:  There is a report that 16 year Tennessee veteran C Kevin maewe is drawing interest from the Redskins.   This makes little sense for two reasons.  One, the Redskins just cut OG Randy Thomas and one of the reasons was to get younger on the offensive line.  Maewe helps that youth movement absolutely none.  Second, the Redskins inked current C Casey Rabach to a three year contract extension yesterday.  Possibly, NFP  got the rumor before the Rabach extension and posted it late?  Otherwise, it makes little sense.  [LINK]
