Buddy Nix thinks being the head coach of the Raiders is a bad job. That's essentially what he said anyway.

This coming from a man who just ushered in the Chan Gailey era in Buffalo!

Let's see, is that the same Chan Gailey who was fired in Dallas and at Georgia Tech? The same Chan Gailey who couldn't even make it out of preseason before losing his job at Kansas City? That Chan Gailey?

Seems as if Buddy Nix still has a little Raider hater in him from his time as assistant general manager of the Chargers. Or maybe he's just trying to deflect some attention away from the fact he just hired Chan Gailey after being turned down by basically everyone!

I'm sure Bills fans are dancing in the streets and making Super Bowl plans right now. I mean Chan Gailey, wow! What a coo you just pulled off Mr. Nix!

You distract everyone with your pursuit of Shanahan and Cower knowing full well Chan Gailey was your guy. Tricky!

I've always felt sorry for Bills fans. They seem like an OK bunch. I feel even more sorry for them now!

Buddy Nix's remarks don't shock me, though. It's not like I don't see the same things being said on message boards, or even hearing these things from people I know.

That's why it will be so sweet when the Raiders finally get it turned around. Because when that happens there will be a lot of folks like Mr. Nix and a large portion of the media who will be going through absolute hell.

Make no mistake fellow Raider fans. There are many out there who'd prefer to see the Raiders lose than to see the team they support win!

So Buddy Nix have your little chuckle at the Raiders' expense today. Enjoy it while you can.

Let the Chan Gailey era begin!
