One Coach Down, Two More Need To Go

The first one to suffer from the collapse of 2009 was Bill Sheridan.  While Sheridan wasnt the only reason the Giants free falled from a 5-0 start, but he was a guilty party.

Bill Sheridan isnt the only one to blame. No one on the defensive side of the ball played to their potential.  Whether injured, recovering from an injury, poorly coached, playing out of position, everything seemed to be a miss this year.  Blame all you want on the defensive side of the ball, but both Kevin Gilbride and Tom Coughlin need to join Sheridan on the unemployment line.

Kevin Gilbride the Giants offensive coordinator simply put is predictable.  When Brandon Jacobs in the game, its a run, when Bradshaw is in the game, its a pass.  Defensives didnt need to have a game plan to stop the Giants, just simply look who is in the backfield.  It took 9 weeks for the Giants to run a reverse. With weapons in Steve Smith, Hakeem Nicks, Mario Manningham and Kevin Boss to catch the ball, how did this team struggle at times to put up points.  In games in Phily, New Orleans, Minnesota, Denver and at home against Carolina the Giants were just simply outmatched.

Head Coach Tom Coughlin has lost this team again. FOR THAT REASON HE NEEDS TO BE FIRED. He lost the team in 2006 and it took both owners, the GM and the players to change his bullish way.  Michael Strahan is not here to save him this time around.  Steve Smith said this team wasnt motivated to play the last two games of the season. WHAT?  With your season on the line, the team wasnt motivated?  HELLO?  IS ANYONE LISTENING?????

That sums up Coach Coughlin.  Unable to reach his players and unable to motivate them to win games they have to win.  If it wasnt for a Great 6 week period in 2007 when the Giants got hot and took advantage of every break we wouldnt be having this discussion because he would have been fired a long time ago.

Please bring in anyone not linked to this coach.  Start with Leslie Frazier (D-Cordinator) of the Vikes, Carmichael of the Saints (offensive coordinator), and Charlie Weiss to name a few. Yes i know Weiss worked with Coughlin on the Giants but Bill Belichick must have passed some knowledge on to a least one of his assistance (wasnt Romeo or Magenius). If that doesnt work go out and get Bill Cowher. Best available and worth the money.

Please give the Giants fan a late Christmas present and get rid of these two coaches.   Its better late then never.
