Are The Pittsburgh Steelers Deserving?

Now, before I start this article, I would like to say that I am as much as a Steeler Fan as the bum on the street.

With that said, Are the Steelers deserving of going to the playoffs?

Now as you all know, the steelers started the season against the Titans.We beat them in overtime in a game that I almost had a heart attack.

We then lost two straight shock losses. In my opinion, the Chicago loss was only because of Jeff Reed, so I consider that a win even if the record books say otherwise. When we lost to the Bungles I mean Bengals, we were all shocked on how the Bengals weren't that bad of a team anymore and how they actually beat us.

There was then alot of  "The Steelers D can't finish games! It could cost us in the future!" talk.

The Steelers then won 5 straight games including The Chargers, the then Undefeated Vikings and the Then Undefeated Broncos! We were on fire. Many said that we were hands-down SuperBowl contenders. Everything was looking great!

You all know what comes next.

We then lost 5 Straight games.

I understand us losing to the Bengals and the Ravens.

Maybe even the Chiefs.

But when we lost to the Raiders..it couldn't get any worse...Boy was I wrong.

WE LOST TO THE CLEVELAND BROWNS...

THE BROWNS...

Think on that for a second. THE BROWNS!!! The team that was so bad, that at the beginning of the season, they didnt even have a consistent starting QB!

Anyway, we then went to beat the Packers a great game (that I attended). Now even though some would consider that win luck, I don't. Ben had what? 503 passing yards? And that pass and catch by Wallace was completely clutch, not luck.

We then played the Ravens and beat them in a game that we actually should have lost if the Ravens weren't their own worst enemies.

Now look where we stand. 8-7. Now I did all of that to prove a point. Do you really think the Steelers deserve to go to the Playoffs? Yes we have beaten some really good teams. But we lost to some pretty bad ones as well. If the Steelers don't make it to the Playoffs, they have nothing to blame but themselves.

Yeah, even though the NFL  hates the Steelers (look at the Bengals-Jets game moved to a Night Game), I mean they lost 5 in a row. That is just bad football.

Analysis: No, the Steelers don't deserve to go to the playoffs ( but I will be happy if they do).

Tips for next season:

Well Fire Willy Gay..horrible.

And you have to fire Bruce "Pass" Ariens. He is a key reason why we had a 5 game skid. "The Offence did good!" Is what your saying to yourself. Yeah they did ok, but our defence is a get in get off Defence...they are not meant to be on the field for a long time.

On a Final note to all of you that are saying fire Tomlin...are You High?

HE JUST WON A F****** SuperBowl....

Also, you can lead a horse to water...but you cant make it drink...
