Ryan Moats HOU, RB

Jon Dove: Sell —Moats has been a career backup for a reason. While I think in the    coming weeks he will see some extra carries, eventually the more explosive Slaton will be back in the Texans good graces. Sell him while you can. You could even wait a week and hope for another good game, which would up his value more.

Billy Smith: Buy —He has been taking carries away from Slaton over the past few weeks. He is forcing his way into the starting rotation.

Brett Favre MIN, QB

Jon Dove: Sell While Favre is having a good year I wouldn’t trade what it will take to acquire him. If you’re desperate then go for it, but I would think long and hard about the trade. Brett has shown a recent trend of struggling in the second half of the season.

Billy Smith: Buy —At first I wrote “Sell” then I looked at the rest of the Vikings schedule. They may not lose again. They have three road games (Arizona, Carolina, and Chicago) and five at home (Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Cincinnati, and the Giants). They could win all of those (@ Chicago will be the toughest game left.)

With this moderately easy schedule, Favre may not revert to his second half form from last year.

LeSean McCoy PHI, RB

Jon Dove: Sell —Westbrook is about finished. It seems he is injured every week, and if he is healthy he doesn’t produce. McCoy will get the bulk of the carries from here on out.

However, several things concern me. If Westbrook is healthy he will get touches and the Eagles are a very pass happy team. Also watch for Leonard Weaver stealing goal line carries. I would trade for him but you might be able to sell him at high value.

Billy Smith: Sell —McCoy has been decent filling in for Westbrook, but his touches are going to go down soon.

Greg Jennings GB, WR

Jon Dove: Hold —For some reason Jennings has not been very productive. I think a lot has to do with the fact that Rodgers is running for his life on every play. He won’t have much trade value so hang on because if the Packers stabilize the offensive line Jennings could have several big games.

Billy Smith: Buy —Jennings has been Rodgers’ favorite target the past two weeks. He is going to keep getting chances and his touchdowns should come soon.

Percy Harvin MIN, WR

Jon Dove: Buy —Harvin is a playmaker. He is getting consistent targets on offense and is a big threat in the kicking game. Farve and Harvin have developed a good relationship and that has carried onto the field. Watch that he doesn’t hit that infamous rookie wall.

Billy Smith: Buy —Harvin is fast and can catch the ball. As a bonus he might get you a touchdown on special teams.
