Arsene Wenger Reportedly Targeted by PSG, Chinese Super League
Outgoing Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger reportedly has an offer from Paris Saint-Germain to become their general manager, while an unnamed club from the Chinese Super League is willing to make the tactician the highest-paid manager in the world.
According to Daily Mail's Sami Mokbel, Wenger would prefer a role as a more traditional manager rather than the PSG offer. The Mirror's John Cross reported the Chinese offer would exceed the £24 million per year Marcello Lippi currently makes.
The Mirror's Thomas Bristow also weighed in on the matter, reporting Wenger will decline PSG's offer.

The Ligue 1 champions are set to announce Thomas Tuchel as their manager and would use Wenger as a bridge between the German and club owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi. PSG announced Friday current team boss Unai Emery will not return next year:
Per the report, the 68-year-old would like to manage in France or Spain next season and has no interest in a front-office role. He's worked closely with Al-Khelaifi in his role as chief executive of beIN Sports.
The Chinese route could be another option. The Super League is filled with high-profile managers from Europe making bags of money, including Fabio Cannavaro, Manuel Pellegrini and Paulo Bento. Lippi was manager of Guangzhou Evergrande before taking the job as national team boss.
Per Cross, Wenger's ideal situation would help him grow a club, an opportunity he would certainly find in China. He would also more than treble his current wages if these latest reports are accurate.
