LeBron James Purchases 2nd Home in Los Angeles for $23 Million
A limited liability company connected to LeBron James purchased the NBA superstar's second home in Brentwood, Los Angeles, for $23 million.
According to Neal J. Leitereg of the Los Angeles Times, the 15,846 sq ft mansion features eight bedrooms, nine-and-a-half bathrooms, an elevator, home theater, wine cellar and cigar room. There's also a spa with a steam room and sauna.
Jasmine Watkins shared more photos of the luxury home, courtesy of Trulia's Megan Johnson:
Don't preorder a Los Angeles Lakers (or Clippers) jersey just yet. The Cleveland Cavaliers superstar bought a home in Brentwood for approximately $21 million two years ago.
Yet the 32-year-old can opt out of his contract and enter free agency this offseason. As a result, onlookers will seek clues for his future landing spot in every move James makes.
Update: Per Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com, the three-time champion and his family like the new house better than the previous residence, and "nothing should be construed about James' future in Cleveland from the purchase."
