Cromartie, 32, made the same gesture last week, joining a growing number of NFL players to protest police brutality and the treatment of African-Americans and minorities in the United States.
"Everyone wants to say all lives matter, but until black lives start to matter, all lives don't matter," Cromartie said, per Nate Taylor of the Indianapolis Star. "That's what people need to start looking at. When you take a knee, you're talking about everything that goes on in this country."
Cromartie described school systems in the black community as "terrible" and said "you know kids are uneducated in some of those communities," per Fox59.com.
Cromartie's demonstration came a day after some members of the East Carolina University marching band knelt during the national anthem and were then booed during halftime.
