College Softball World Series 2016: Oklahoma vs. Auburn Game 2 Score and Recap
Auburn's Emily Carosone delivered a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the eighth inning to force a Game 3 in the Women's College World Series with an 11-7 win over the Oklahoma Sooners on Tuesday night.
The Tigers scored 11 unanswered runs, equaling the largest comeback in Women's College World College Series history, as they trailed 7-0 after the top of the second inning.
Oklahoma took full advantage of an Auburn mistake to take an early lead. Erin Miller led off the game by reaching first when Auburn's Whitney Jordan booted a grounder, and she came around to score thanks to a Fale Aviu single.

The floodgates opened in the second inning as the Sooners scored five runs before a single out.
Kady Self doubled the advantage when she led off the second inning with a solo home run to left-center field.
Two straight singles from Lea Wodach and Kelsey Arnold put Oklahoma back in business right after Self's home run, and Wodach's pinch runner, Raegan Rogers, scored when Miller hit a grounder to Jordan once again. This time, the Auburn shortstop threw the ball away, allowing one Sooner to score.
Small ball took over as a pair of suicide squeezes drove in Arnold and Miller before a Sydney Romero single put Oklahoma up 6-0.
That was all for pitcher Kaylee Carlson. Rachael Walters replaced her and immediately got Aviu to ground into a double play, but Nicole Pendley drove in one more run with a single to make it 7-0 before Auburn could get out of the inning.
Walters stabilized Auburn's defense, though, retiring 14 of the 17 batters she faced.
It allowed the Tigers to find a reply, which they did in the bottom half of the second inning, all with two outs.
Jordan made up for earlier issues in the field when she launched a three-run home run to deliver the first blow to Oklahoma's deficit.
Auburn made it a three-run game when a fly ball to left field from Tiffany Howard went off of the glove of Self, scoring one. Howard went to third, and Kelsey Stevens was done for the night.
Jayden Chestnut came in and was met with a laser single from Kasey Cooper to make it a 7-5 game. The 12 runs set a record, according to ESPN.com's Graham Hays:
The Tigers tied things up in the fourth inning when Cooper, the SEC Player of the Year, homered over the right-field wall, via NCAA Softball:
Oklahoma looked like it was about to take a two-run lead in the sixth inning when Shay Knighten drove one that seemed destined for the left field stands. But Howard leaped up and brought it back to preserve the tie for Auburn.
SEC Network caught the moment:
It proved to be a game-saving catch as the contest meandered into extra innings. Oklahoma went down quietly in the top of the eighth before Auburn loaded the bases, setting the stage for Carosone, who attacked the first pitch she saw.
All the momentum is now with Auburn, who gave Oklahoma its first loss in 31 games. The national title comes down to a winner-take-all Game 3 coming up on Wednesday.
