Wright Struggling to Shake Injury Bug
Wright's back flared up May 17, but the seemingly minor injury was a cause for concern after he was diagnosed last year with spinal stenosis, a narrowing of the spinal column.
Through 37 appearances this season, the veteran third baseman is batting .226 with seven home runs, 14 RBI and a .350 on-base percentage.
