Beckham Ties Giants Record with 5th Straight 100-Yard Game
New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. tied a franchise record by recording his fifth straight 100-yard receiving performance in Sunday's 23-20 overtime loss to the New York Jets, per Elias Sports Bureau (via ESPN Stats & Info).
The record was previously set by Homer Jones between the end of the 1967 season and beginning of the 1968 season, with the streak accounting for five of the 17 100-yard performances over the course of his 87-game career.
The 23-year-old Beckham already has 14 100-yard outings through the first 24 games of his career, including four in a row to close out his rookie season, in addition to the ongoing streak.

A.J. Brown Deal Not 'Firm'
Currently on pace to catch 104 passes for 1,539 yards and 10 touchdowns, Beckham has safely erased any questions about a sophomore slump after starting the season a bit slow in comparison to last year's dominance.
He'll be in search of a sixth consecutive 100-yard game when the Giants face the Miami Dolphins on Monday night, and while the Miami defense has been far from impressive in recent weeks, top cornerback Brent Grimes should at least provide Beckham with some kind of a challenge.
The contest will also serve as a reunion of sorts, as Beckham and Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry formed a formidable wideout duo at LSU during the 2012 and 2013 seasons, with both going over 1,000 yards in the latter campaign.
