Bridgewater Active vs. Chargers

Bridgewater was available to play Sunday against the San Diego Chargers, according to Matt Vensel of the Star Tribune.
Bridgewater Not New to Injuries
Bridgewater, who is preparing for his third season in the league, has experienced some injury issues before. The 23-year-old went down with a concussion in Week 9 of the 2015 season, but he was cleared before missing any games.
The latest injury is Bridgewater's third of note in his career. He missed a game during his rookie season because of an ankle injury. While far from injury-prone, Bridgewater hasn't been a paragon of health—even if the concussion, in particular, wasn't his fault.
The Louisville product was solid but unspectacular for most of 2015, throwing for 3,231 yards and 14 touchdowns with nine interceptions. Those numbers were good enough to lead the Vikings to an NFC North championship and a spot in the playoffs, where they lost to the Seahawks in the first round.
However, it's worth noting Minnesota ranked near or at the bottom of the league in most passing categories last season and lacked explosive plays.
