WWE Night of Champions 2015: B/R Expert Match Predictions and Analysis

James MoffatSep 18, 2015

We're all set for WWE Night of Champions 2015, when all five of the company's championships will be up for grabs.

Surprisingly, that is still a relevant statement. You'd think that with a dozen or more pay-per-view events each year it would happen more often. However, WWE Night of Champions 2015 will be the first time in a full year that every WWE title will be contested (h/t Internet Wrestling Database).

Since WWE Night of Champions last year—the last time there were five title matches on a WWE pay-per-view card—the only championship that has been defended at each and every event is the tag team championship.

On Sunday, no champion is safe, including the company's only dual titleholder, Seth Rollins. The Architect will be pulling double duty, defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Sting and the United States Championship against John Cena.

Ryback, the New Day and Nikki Bella will also put their belts on the line against strong opponents in Kevin Owens, the Dudley Boyz and Charlotte respectively.

Aside from the five title matches, a number of other Superstars will go toe-to-toe, including the Wyatt Family and the team of Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and a mystery partner. Plus, Rusev and Dolph Ziggler continue their feud minus one leading lady, Lana.

At last year's event, three titles changed hands. What's in store for the WWE Universe on Sunday? The famed Bleacher Report panel of experts is here to break down the biggest questions heading into WWE Night of Champions 2015, as well as give you predictions for how it will all go down.

The B/R Expert Panel for WWE Night of Champions includes (from left) Erik Beaston, Brad Jones, Anthony Mango, Aaron Bower and James Moffat.

As is has been for the last two months, our panel of experts is composed of members of the Bleacher Report WWE team, who will answer the tough questions about the landscape in WWE and provide predictions for each match on the Night of Champions card.

This month, our panel consists of:

  • Brad Jones (@beardjones)
  • Anthony Mango (@ToeKneeManGo), founder of SmarkOutMoment.com and host of the Smack Talk podcast
  • Aaron Bower (@aaronbower)
  • Erik Beaston (@ErikBeaston)
Plus, just as WWE dusted off the Icon for this month's pay-per-view, the B/R Expert Panel will include a special appearance from yours truly. I normally stay on the sideline and ask the questions, but I'll be pulling double duty this time around.

It's time to strap up the laces and get ready to rumble. The predictions start now.

Neville and Lucha Dragons vs. Cosmic Wasteland

2 of 11

Q: Who benefits the most from the Cosmic Wasteland tandem, Stardust or The Ascension?

James Moffat (JM): Konnor and Viktor are the biggest beneficiaries of this team-up. While Stardust has been involved in some feuds and storylines, the Ascension has been stuck in a wasteland since joining the main roster. In NXT, these guys were wrecking machines. In WWE, they’ve been nothing. The alignment with Stardust reminds me of when Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Jr. joined forces with Randy Orton to form the Legacy. The Ascension can not only gain quality exposure working with Stardust but valuable knowledge from the second-generation wrestler.

Match Prediction: Cosmic Wasteland

Brad Jones (BJ): The Ascension. Stardust will benefit from having a couple of goons to boss around, but the Ascension has looked beyond lost since graduating from NXT. Now the team has a purpose, Konnor and Viktor more likely to improve and flesh out their act rather than just floating around as the lowest team on the ladder.

Match Prediction: Cosmic Wasteland

Anthony Mango (AM): Stardust. Easily. The tag teams in stables tend to be supplemental to the singles stars, and the Ascension was floundering while Stardust had something decent going on for himself. He'll use them as the equivalent of those rockets that help spaceships during the launch but are cast aside once their fuel has been used up. If this team is going to amount to anything, it needs to win here to continue to be worth something for the next couple of months.

Match Prediction: Cosmic Wasteland

Erik Beaston (EB): I think most would suggest the Ascension benefits the most because Cosmic Wasteland gives them something to do, but I’m going to go the opposite end of the spectrum and suggest Stardust gains the most from this union. He gets to be the leader—the star of the show. He is the lead villain, and Konnor and Viktor are his minions. When looked at like that, the answer is simple.

Match Prediction: Cosmic Wasteland

Aaron Bower (AB): It has to be the Ascension. Such is Stardust’s booking on television and the fact the Ascension has barely been seen that the tag team's push to join forces with Stardust means it will benefit much more than he will. This seems like a decent idea on the face of it, and it’s another hint WWE is going big on trios, with the Wyatt Family and the New Day being other examples.

Match Prediction: Cosmic Wasteland

Wyatt Family 2.0 vs. The Shield 2.0

3 of 11

Q:  Who would be the best fit as Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose’s mystery partner at Night of Champions on Sunday?

BJ: Daniel Bryan. If he is indeed well enough to wrestle, his return would be a very memorable moment—and he’d definitely bring something to the match itself. With his history with the Wyatts, he’d add a very interesting twist to a match that promises to be among the best on the card.

Match Prediction: The Wyatt Family

AM: In an ideal situation, the Rock would be able to come in for this appearance and stick around a little longer until this feud is completely over, but I don't have much faith that will be the case. Keeping within the confines of realistic expectations, Erick Rowan makes the most sense. We all know he's injured, but as far as the storyline goes, Bray Wyatt essentially passed over including him in favor of Braun Strowman, so he could be seeking revenge. Rowan's not the biggest name, but he'll probably get a pop and be able to match up with Strowman much better than most of the roster. Hopefully, he has a new look going for him and not the bearded sanitation worker.

Match Prediction: Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Erick Rowan

EB: When it was rumored Baron Corbin would join Reigns and Ambrose at Night of Champions to battle the Wyatt Family, it took me a second to warm up to the idea. After all, Corbin is still fairly green and has only recently graduated to longer televised matches in NXT. But given how long he has been in developmental and working live events, the guy is more seasoned than he may appear. A dominant badass teaming with the former Shield members would be an excellent story, as would the his inevitable showdown with Braun Strowman. Unfortunately, those rumors were refuted by Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer (h/t WrestleZone.com) on Monday night, leaving the third man a mystery.

Match Prediction: Ambrose, Reigns and the third man

AB: For the surprise factor, someone such as Chris Jericho would be a brilliant fit. He’s a massive name that, Beast in the East aside, hasn’t been on TV since late last year, so WWE fans would certainly react well to him if he were the mystery man. As well as that, he’d be able to give Reigns and Ambrose a real shot in the arm given his stature and legacy in WWE. Throw in the fact he’s feuded with Bray Wyatt both on and off TV in the recent past, and he seems to be a smart choice if WWE can lure him back for a run on television.

Match Prediction: Wyatt Family 2.0

JM: I’ve got to give credit to WWE for a second. While there’s been plenty of speculation and rumors floating out there, it’s kept the actual identity of Reigns and Ambrose’s mystery partner under wraps quite well. With that said, I’d love to see Baron Corbin make a one-night appearance on the main roster. He’d be a great fit for the feud, as Ryan Dilbert wrote recently. However, I think we’re likely to see Erick Rowan make his return to the roster. Yawn.

Match Prediction: The Shield 2.0

Ryback vs. Kevin Owens (Intercontinental Championship)

4 of 11

Q: Regardless of outcome, is this the match that begins to make the Intercontinental Championship a prestigious title once again?

AM: Sadly, no. WWE has dropped the ball with the Intercontinental Championship so much in 2015. Unfortunately, the injuries Daniel Bryan and Ryback sustained killed the momentum it had going for it, and the creative team has yet to bounce back. This feud seems like an afterthought, and the promo between Owens and Ryback on Raw was so bad it should just be ignored. More attention needs to be put into making this title feel worth the effort, and more effort needs to be put into giving this attention.

Match Prediction: Ryback

EB: The fact we have spent the last five years asking if this is the Intercontinental Championship will be restored to the same prestige it held during the 1990s is proof the company has no real intention of presenting it any differently than it does currently. To his credit, Ryback has done a fantastic job as champion, but that is more a reflection of the performer than the title. If anyone could restore credibility to the title, it would be Owens, but I would not hold my breath waiting for that to happen.

Match Prediction: Ryback via disqualification

AB: It could well be, not least because Ryback finally has a challenger people genuinely care about. No offense to Big Show or the Miz, but their presence in title matches doesn't get fans all that excited. What Ryback needs is a genuine heel who can produce legitimate heat, and in terms of the midcard, Kevin Owens is a standout choice. The chain effect from an Owens win would also set up the Intercontinental Championship brilliantly for the latter part of the year. From there, a whole host of stars could come into the reckoning to challenge KO.

Match Prediction: Kevin Owens

JM: Against my better judgment, I do think this is a matchup that could begin to elevate the title to its rightful place in the WWE pecking order. WWE Creative should let one guy hold the title and own it. Such a storyline did wonders for the United States Championship when John Cena made it his own. I think WWE Night of Champions will be the turning point.

Match Prediction: Ryback

BJ: Yes, if only for the fact it should bring Ryback’s reign to an end. I like the Big Guy a lot, but injuries and a tedious feud with Big Show and the Miz have severely detracted from his time as champion. Kevin Owens is at his best with a belt around his waist, so the possibility of a lengthy run with the Intercontinental Championship is a very appealing prospect.

Match Prediction: Kevin Owens

Seth Rollins vs. John Cena (United States Championship)

5 of 11

Q: Seth Rollins or John Cena, which man is having the better year?

EB: John Cena. That may not be the most popular answer, but the franchise star of WWE has delivered his finest performances between the ropes this year, all the while rebuilding the United States Championship into one of the more prestigious titles in the company. He has proved himself to be one of the best workers on the roster despite a truly awful springboard stunner, and he has worked legitimate Match of the Year candidates with a number of stars of varying styles. Kevin Owens, Cesaro, Sami Zayn, Zack Ryder and Stardust are among the guys to have had phenomenal television matches this year. The common denominator? Cena.

Match Prediction: John Cena

AB: Seth Rollins, but this has been one of John Cena’s better years. Rollins has been a great WWE World Heavyweight Champion and has benefitted from a wide variety of opponents such as Dean Ambrose, Brock Lesnar and now Sting. His love-hate relationship with the Authority has been fun to watch while he has firmly established himself as the company’s top guy with some strong in-ring performances. Cena has been made to look slightly more vulnerable than in recent years, which will have satisfied WWE fans, but on the strength of their achievements and their wins, Rollins gets the vote here.

Match Prediction: John Cena

JM: I don’t make these questions easy, do I? I’ll give the edge to Cena at this point, as he’s had so many quality matches he outweighs Rollins’ standing atop WWE. Rollins might have had the bigger moments in 2015, but Cena’s overall body of work has been outstanding. Cena’s big year will likely continue on Sunday night, getting redemption and taking his title back.

Match Prediction: John Cena

BJ: Seth Rollins. John Cena has been having some terrific matches, but Rollins has firmly implanted himself in the main event—something many wrestlers put in his position have struggled to accomplish. Between his work between the ropes and his growing confidence on the microphone, the Architect has been the all-around best performer in the company this year.

Match Prediction: Seth Rollins

AM: John Cena's been having some of the best matches of his career, but Seth Rollins has literally made his career this year. In the past nine months, he's been Mr. Money in the Bank, defeated Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of WrestleMania, been aligned with the biggest faction in the company led by the two most influential people in the business outside of Vince McMahon, is a dual champion and is wrestling Sting. This guy's been performing great matches as well and is truly the top dog.

Match Prediction: John Cena

Bonus Question #1

6 of 11

Q: In August, our B/R colleague Graham GSM Matthews wrote that Night of Champions is “no longer necessary” on the WWE pay-per-view schedule. Tell us which current WWE pay-per-view you’d scrap. Bonus points for naming a replacement event (non-WWE events welcome).

AB: Battleground. Unlike every other pay-per-view, which seems to have a niche factor surrounding it, Battleground offers nothing to the scheduling. Replace it with something really interesting and really different to give that part of the year a real edge. An option would be to go big on the King of the Ring once again and dedicate a whole night’s entertainment to the tournament like in the late 1990s. That’s when KOTR was at its best, and if WWE did that, people might care about it more again.

JM: While Hell in a Cell is an easy answer, it could be tweaked to make it more of an event than a pay-per-view with a single gimmick match (WarGames, anyone?). To me, Extreme Rules has run its course. This event is a product of a different era, one to which WWE will probably never return. Personally, I loved the old Bash at the Beach events with the sun-and-fun vibe. WWE could make this the event before SummerSlam ,and it would fit in the calendar perfectly. There’s so much to work with there.

BJ: I’d drop Hell in a Cell, purely to bring a bit of mystique back to the structure. That stipulation works best when it’s putting a long-running feud to an end rather than being shoehorned into a program. I’d replace it with Halloween Havoc, a goofy pay-per-view for the most part, but it's one for which I have a real soft spot.

AM: Hell in a Cell is a match much more suited to end a feud than to be at a set time every year. This used to be the biggest possible match two wrestlers could participate in, but it's been watered down over since becoming a pay-per-view. If WWE is dead set on having an event built around a cage, it can be a standard steel cage show and they should bring back the title No Way Out. For extra coverage, Night of Champions should be a random WWE Network special, and that slot on the event schedule should be replaced with an NXT versus WWE edition of Bragging Rights.

EB: Growing up, I was clearly a WWE guy, but there was always one WCW pay-per-view that caught my eye: Halloween Havoc. The theme, the set, the cheesy holiday-themed vignettes were all fantastic and captured my imagination. No pay-per-view has done more to water down a match concept more than Hell in a Cell. Ditch that show, replace it with Halloween Havoc and put some effort into the setup. The kids will be begging mom and dad to subscribe to the WWE Network to watch it.

Nikki Bella vs. Charlotte (WWE Divas Championship)

7 of 11

Q: How will you define Nikki Bella’s WWE Divas Championship reign, which is now the longest in WWE history?

JM: Eh. That about sums it up. It’s not all Nikki’s fault. Her reign aligns with possibly the worst time for women wrestlers in the modern era. The company had no interest in their skills inside the ring. The women were marketing tools to expand the WWE empire through the Total Divas reality show. Over her reign, she’s improved as a wrestler. But with Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Bayley ushering in a new era of women’s wrestling, Nikki’s reign—as impressive as it has been—will mean little in a short time.

Match Prediction: Charlotte

BJ: Middling. Nikki deserves a lot of credit for upping her game over the past couple of years, but it’s difficult to say she’s deserving of the record. That being said, the Bella Twins are perhaps the best personification of the Divas era—let Nikki hold the record permanently by retiring the belt once Charlotte becomes champion and reinstating the lineage of the Women’s Championship.

Match Prediction: Charlotte

AM: Nikki Bella is far from the best in-ring competitor WWE has ever seen, even if we're limiting ourselves to the Divas division. That being said, she's improved dramatically compared to what she used to be when she made her debut in the company. There's no denying the Bella Twins are the biggest brand as far as the women go, and I see no reason why she doesn't deserve to have this accolade. This woman has put in a lot of hard work both in and out of the ring, helped make Total Divas a success and, while she'll drop the title here, that's no knock on her career.

Match Prediction: Charlotte

EB: Personally, I will define Nikki Bella’s title reign as one of marked improvement with every passing match. Once one of the absolute worst wrestlers in the world, Nikki has developed into a fine power-based worker who has a solid grasp on the importance of signature moves and the effect a strong finisher can have on a match. Completely underrated because of her off-screen relationship, she is better than she will ever get credit for. Should she have held the title as long as she has? Probably not, but remembering her reign for reasons that have nothing to do with the quality of her work or the booking of her character would be wrong.

Match Prediction: Charlotte

AB: Forgettable and way past its sell-by date. The most important thing to point out is although it’s a cliche, Nikki has been nowhere near a fighting champion during this run. Title matches have been few and far between in recent months, and when they have taken place, they have had nothing about them whatsoever. The ending to her match with Charlotte on Monday's Raw was ludicrous and left a real bitter taste in the mouth. The recent revelations that John Cena’s influence was behind the longevity of Nikki’s run also make it a dismal few months for the Divas Championship. Time for a change here.

Match Prediction: Charlotte

Dolph Ziggler vs. Rusev

8 of 11

Q: When it is all said and done, which participant will suffer most from this feud: Ziggler, Rusev, Lana or Summer Rae?

BJ: It seems like Lana at the moment, but I’m willing to wait to see how things play out. If this rivalry is building toward her returning to Rusev and once again having the opportunity to use her considerable talents as a managerial mouthpiece, it has the potential to be a great twist—but at present, she’s being wasted.

Match Prediction: Rusev

AM: They're all in pretty bad shape after this, aren't they? This is a perfect example of WWE thinking it's best to drag a feud out but not having the proper amount of story to be able to do that without it getting stale. A smarter option would have been to jump straight to the mixed tag team match at SummerSlam and be entirely done with this feud by Night of Champions. Since Summer Rae hasn't been relevant since dancing with Fandango, she's in no worse of a spot than normal, but WWE needs to follow this up with something good for the other three or they're in bad shape.

Match Prediction: Dolph Ziggler

EB: I’m going to go out on a limb and say Lana. Just a few months ago, she was growing in popularity. Some of that was to do with her looks; some of it had to do with the fact that she was a strong, independent woman who was beginning to stand up against the oppressive Rusev. Instead of building on that character, they had her run right back into the arms of another man, as if to say she needed a guy to fight her battles for her. That she has been completely overshadowed by Summer Rae, who has been the bright light in an otherwise miserable story, has not helped matters. Now, her wrist injury will keep her from participating in the remainder of the program. Or at least it appears that way.

Match Prediction: Dolph Ziggler

AB: In all honesty the best answer would be all of them, but to pick out just one, this has been a disaster for Dolph Ziggler. The guy who has had World Heavyweight Championship runs in the past and done a fine job in that time has been reduced to a pawn in a trashy romance storyline that’s more suitable to a daytime soap opera. Dolph is in desperate need of a change, with a heel turn perhaps the only way out of the downward spiral he’s in. This bout at Night of Champions is a solid contender for least interesting match of the night, something you wouldn’t have said about a Ziggler match until recently.

Match Prediction: Rusev

JM: There's no doubt it’s Dolph Ziggler. Let’s face it: None of these four have been given anything of substance to work with. But once the dust settles, Rusev is still a monster in the ring, Lana is still hearing her name chanted in arenas religiously and Summer Rae never had anywhere to go but up. Ziggler needed this feud to help move him back into the upper level of the midcard again. Instead, it was an overly long soap opera in which he was the worst performer.

Match Prediction: Rusev

The Dudley Boyz vs. the New Day (WWE Tag Team Championship)

9 of 11

Q: According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Wrestling Inc.), WWE has discussed bringing the Hardy Boyz back into the fold. Based on the success of the Dudley Boyz’s return, would this be a good or bad move for WWE?

AM: It's a dangerous move as far as public relations go since Matt and Jeff Hardy are not exactly the best role models out there. The track record of problems almost seems like too much of a hassle to be worth bringing them back into the fold, but if they can behave, it would be a major acquisition. Not only would this help the tag team division, but it would also give WWE another midcarder (Matt) and upper midcarder (Jeff) to put over some of the younger stars.

Match Prediction: The New Day

EB: Bad move. At this point, WWE should be focusing on building and molding the youngsters it already has on its roster into stars, not relying on older characters from past eras to come in and pop a rating—especially when those performers are Matt and Jeff Hardy, whose pasts are checkered to say the least. Both can still undoubtedly go, as fans of Impact Wrestling will attest to, but the company should opt to work on getting the Ascension, Lucha Dragons, Prime Time Players and any number of its NXT teams over instead of dipping back into the Attitude era bag of tricks. A Hall of Fame induction is certainly in order, though.

Match Prediction: The New Day

AB: Good. So good. The segment backstage on Raw recently with the Dudley Boyz and Edge and Christian was compelling viewing and took all viewers of a similar age to myself back to their childhoods. Bringing back the Hardy Boyz will further rekindle those memories, and with the momentum the New Day have at the moment, they’d be a solid replacement for Edge and Christian in a triumvirate of exciting tag teams at the head of the division. Providing Matt and Jeff are ready to knuckle down and work hard, all things point to that being a wonderful piece of business if they can lure them back.

Match Prediction: The New Day

JM: Bad move. Bringing Matt and Jeff Hardy back into the fold just pushes the other teams down in a division that’s starting to get its bearings. The Dudleys have been fun and bring a unique style to the tag team division. Instead of pushing another Attitude era team such as the Hardyz, WWE should give the Lucha Dragons—another team of high-flyers—a chance to work in the main event or focus their attention on the Ascension, the Prime Time Players or any number of the younger teams in NXT.

Match Prediction: The New Day

BJ: It depends on the execution. If then plan is to simply put the tag team division in a time warp, that would be a very bad move. However, the idea of the New Day versus the Dudley Boyz versus the Hardy Boyz falling into place in time for the TLC pay-per-view in December has a lot of potential.

Match Prediction: The New Day

Seth Rollins vs. Sting (WWE World Heavyweight Championship)

10 of 11

Q: Should Sting—a man who’s wrestled exactly two matches in WWE—have even been considered for a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match?

EB: Yes, for the same reason that Brock Lesnar and the Rock were given championship opportunities: He is a legitimate icon in the business and can slide right into the title picture without the casual fan doubting whether he deserves it. He has name power and can sell shows and network subscriptions based solely on older fans’ desire to see what an old favorite of theirs is up to at this point in his career. If he wins the title, this turns into an entirely different argument. But should he be considered? Absolutely.

Match Prediction: Seth Rollins

AB: His reputation, history and legacy suggests yes. Two matches in WWE fair enough, but the hundreds, maybe thousands, of matches he’s had in his career to date give him more than enough right to go straight into the world title picture despite his brief tenure in WWE. When you look around and you weigh up the men who could have fought Seth Rollins instead of Sting, the only one you’re going to get left with at this point in time is John Cena, which would have satisfied nobody.

Match Prediction: Seth Rollins

JM: I respect Sting and all he’s done in the business. But no way should Sting be wrestling Seth Rollins for the WWE title. If this were next year and Sting had a couple of pay-per-view matches under his belt, it would maybe be a nice way to put the Icon out to pasture. But to wrestle Triple H at WrestleMania 31 in an awful match, then appear after SummerSlam to challenge for the title? It reeks of desperation from a company waiting for Brock Lesnar to return.

Match Prediction: Sting via DQ (Seth Rollins retains title)

BJ: Of course he should: He’s a legend. If Undertaker turned up in New Japan Pro Wrestling, you’d better believe he’d be given a shot at the IWGP Heavyweight Championship quicker than a gong could sound. The wrestling world is bigger than just WWE, and accepting that fact is just good business for any promotion operating in the modern era of pro wrestling.

Match Prediction: Seth Rollins

AM: It sounds kind of ridiculous for someone with Sting's record to get a title shot, but it would be a different story if he were a different person. This is Sting we're talking about, not Adam Rose. When someone with his background comes into WWE, he essentially needs to be a top priority from the start, as he's more than paid his dues in WCW to justify his status as a legend. It's just a shame Sting lost at WrestleMania because he's not leaving Night of Champions with the title.

Match Prediction: Seth Rollins retains, even if he technically loses the match

Bonus Question #2

11 of 11

Q: Which WWE Superstar are you most disappointed isn’t scheduled to wrestle at WWE Night of Champions?

AB: Cesaro, although he could well end up being the mystery man in the Wyatt 2.0 versus Shield 2.0 match—despite the fact I obliviously picked someone else. It’s a real shame to see the momentum Cesaro had picked up starting to fade again; it’s only a month or so since every single arena WWE went to was littered with "Cesaro Section" signs. That particular trend seems to have faded away too. It’s vital WWE sounds out a long-term strategy for the Swiss Superman after Night of Champions. Who knows, if Kevin Owens wins the Intercontinental Championship, perhaps WWE can revisit Owens versus Cesaro—with a title on the line to boot. That would be very special.

JM: I’m going to guess my colleagues will say Cesaro, but any match he would be put in at this point would be a throwaway match (see: the Miz and Big Show). Sasha Banks, on the other hand, is arguably the best pound-for-pound wrestler in the company today. She’s a unique talent who needs to be front and center in the Divas Revolution storyline.

BJ: Whichever member of the New Day isn’t chosen to represent their team in the match—despite the fact I’m sure they’ll make their presence felt. The trio is on a roll at the moment and is capable of producing gold whenever there are eyes focused at them. There are plenty of three-man groups in WWE at the moment, so let us see the group engage in some six-man competition. WWE will be airing a live event from Madison Square Garden in October; pit the New Day against the Dudley Boyz (with Spike making a return to even the odds), add some tables to the mix, and you’ve got a match for the ages.

AM: Since his schedule has been basically one match per year for a while now, I wouldn't have expected it whatsoever, but my choice would definitely be the Undertaker. As he wrestled at SummerSlam and is booked for an upcoming tour, why not wrestle at Night of Champions too? The Undertaker is my favorite wrestler of all time, save for Shawn Michaels, so any opportunity for him to be a part of any show would be an upgrade to that event as far as I'm concerned. At least I can still blindly cross my fingers that he may be the third man on Team Shield until proved wrong!

EB: This one is harder than I thought it would be. Cesaro is the easy answer, especially given how fantastic he has been over the summer. Few have consistently delivered in the way Cesaro has, and to see his push stalled once again is a travesty. But there is also Sasha Banks, who has been engaged in a quality feud with Paige. One of the best wrestlers in the world in 2015, Banks deserves a spot on the show as much, if not more than, anyone else.
