Neymar and His Son, Davi Lucca, Become Newest Members of FC Barcelona

Neymar is no longer just a player of FC Barcelona—he is a club member. 

The Brazilian joined the club—along with his son, Davi Lucca—on Friday and will now have a say on the future of the club. 

It is not possible to buy shares in Barcelona; the club is instead run by its members—or socios, as they are known. 

Per the Barcelona website:

Neymar is member number 155,674 and his son is number 155,675. They also received a mix of gifts from the Club including official jerseys and personalised senyeres, Catalan flags, inscribed with the names of Neymar and Davi Lucca, his son.
