Boxing fans have wanted to see Floyd Mayweather Jr. battle Manny Pacquiao ever since the two individually dominated the 2000s and made their claims for greatness.

Pacquiao is now 35 with five losses on his resume, while Mayweather is 37. Though Mayweather is arguably slower than he was in his prime, he is still undefeated and the pound-for-pound No. 1 boxer in the world.

Time is running out for the potential superfight, and given the payday that Mayweather opponents routinely see, most believe that the ball is in his court.

Cue Pacquiao's not-so-friendly tweet regarding Mayweather's recent testimony to the Nevada Athletic Commission, which involved Mayweather discussing marijuana usage and other controversial components of his special feature on Showtime's All Access.

.@FloydMayweather's testimony to the commission on All Access' authenticity tells me everything I need to know about his desire to fight me.

Floyd fired back at Pacquiao on Twitter and Instagram Friday:

My new boxing DVD is coming soon and is called "3 Ways to Sleep". Back, Face and Butt and I'm Falling & I Can't Get Up.....

There is something else.

After saying he'd fight Marcos Maidana on Sept. 13, 2014 (a fight he won by unanimous decision), Mayweather also laid this tidbit

"Then in May, I'm going to have a big surprise for you."

Guess we'll wait and see.
