Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo was the surprise winner of an action-packed Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps on Sunday afternoon, with championship leader Nico Rosberg in the Mercedes coming home in second ahead of the third-placed Williams of Valtteri Bottas.
However, there was yet again huge controversy in the Ardennes mountains after a collision between Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and Rosberg on just the second lap of the race left the Briton with a puncture and ultimately out of the points.

All of which now means Rosberg has further extended his lead at the top of the drivers' standings to an imposing 29 points, the German’s biggest advantage over his rival so far this season, with now just eight grand prixs left this campaign.
Elsewhere, Kimi Raikkonen was fourth in the Ferrari with the Red Bull of world champion Sebastian Vettel in fifth, while the McLarens of Kevin Magnussen and Jenson Button finished in sixth and seventh respectively ahead of Fernando Alonso, Sergio Perez and Daniil Kvyat.
