Don't worry, WWE Superstar The Rock should be good to go for Royal Rumble.

He announced that he suffered internal injuries, but would be okay, after a 3-on-1 assault by The Shield on this week's Monday Night Raw (via Twitter):

Diagnosis: Internal bleeding - lungs. Torn blood vessels. Thank U @wwe Universe. Just part of the job - I'll be good. #JustBringIt

The Rock is set for a blockbuster return to the ring at one of the WWE's biggest pay-per-view events of the year. He will take on reigning champion CM Punk for his WWE Championship belt.

Vince McMahon has added a new stipulation to the fold as a result of the savage attack on The Brahma Bull. CM Punk will be stripped of his title if The Shield interferes in the match in any way, according to WWE.com.

We can't confirm or deny whether Punk had anything to do with sicking The Shield on The Rock in the first place on Monday night, but McMahon isn't taking any chances. As of now, Punk is denying everything, according to WWE’s James Wortman, and his relationship with the trio continues to be one of mystery and speculation.

This has the potential to be one of the biggest nights in recent memory. The return of The Great One is not only great for his career, but it will also definitely help the organization.

Without The Shield, will Paul Heyman find a different way to help guarantee the outcome of this one?

Either way, The Rock is going to be feeling the effects of that Raw beating on Sunday night. He’s been out of the ring for a while, is getting older and may not bounce back as quickly as he thinks he can.
