Mike D'Antoni wasn't on the Los Angeles Lakers sidelines Sunday night, but superstars did play like superstars in the Lakers' 119-108 win over the Houston Rockets.

All five Lakers starters scored in double figures, highlighted by massive games by Dwight Howard and Kobe Bryant.

Howard dropped 28 points and grabbed 13 rebounds while blocking three shots on the defensive end of the floor. Bryant recorded a triple-double—scoring 22 points, snagging 11 boards and dishing out 11 assists. Mamba even managed to collect three steals.

Chandler Parsons and James Harden did their best to keep Houston in the game, but Houston couldn't overcome a huge first quarter by the Lakers.

Player of the Game: Kobe Bryant

Bryant's triple-double performance was excellent. He shot 50 percent on 9-of-18 shooting and only collected three turnovers in roughly 35 minutes on the floor.

Games like this will make Los Angeles tough. It's one thing when Bryant is just helping himself, but he becomes a different player when he's looking for his teammates on the offensive end.

Don't count on many 11-assist nights from Mamba, but the Lakers will take what they can get.
