Over the past few weeks, I've been ranking the teams in the AFC South based on the overall strength of each unit.
Here's the full list of those rankings:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Now that I've ranked the position groupings, I'm going to give each team a score based on their ranking. I'll add their rankings together, and the lowest score has the best roster.
Is it a goofy way to do it?
Maybe.
But, I had to come up with some reason why the rankings wound up in the most obvious order possible: last year's final standings
Texans-Total Score 13
The Texans won the division and it's easy to see why.
Houston has the best quarterback, running back, offensive line, pass-rushers and secondary in the division. They rank no lower than second at any position.
This team is stacked, and I expect them to win the AFC South again in 2012.
Titans-Total Score 22
Tennessee does feature the best tight end, wide receivers and the best special teams, but there's some real weakness in other areas.
The Titans' defense especially needs a lot of work in this draft.
Jaguars-Total Score 24
The Jags have the division's top run defense, and if it wasn't for problems at quarterback, I think they'd be a playoff-caliber club.
It's not a great roster, but Jacksonville has some talent.
Colts-Total Score 31
Um, the Colts have Andrew Luck, Robert Mathis and Dwight Freeney (for now).
Other than that, Indianapolis is basically bereft of players after the great roster purge.
